Yep same here, just got through ordering jump box. Tow truck driver said it's a must with a hybrid. He used one to move mine onto the truck. Said F-150's are the same.

I have seen several post about not being able to start the truck while in Deep Sleep. I have to admit that mine has always started from deep sleep since it is the hybrid battery that starts the electric motor first. The only way I assume I would have problems is if I would try to use the remote start from the app which I have never done. The remote features were always disabled on the app when the truck is in deep sleep. I do know that my original battery that was replace was made in Spain. The replacement was made in Mexico.
Are you sure that's what you read - not able to start?

Vast majority are it still starts. And usually tests good enough to NOT get a warranty replacement.
Well - until it finally does - but it started to get to dealer for final test.

Battery saver functions, including deep sleep mode - are done specifically to leave enough juice in order to start the truck - and it doesn't need much to do that. So not surprising it still starts in deep sleep mode.
It just has to close a relay so the HVB can come online.
Then the truck is Ready, or On.

There really is no "starting" of an electric motor - that is merely told to "spin" and given some power to do so - when the truck in ON in Ready.

Thanks for the info. My battery lists at 760 CCA, "non-spoilable lead acid" battery, no caps on tom like the old batteries. So I don't think it' I have an AGM battery.
You're welcome. I'm a bit confused by your last sentence. Are you thinking you do or don't have an AGM battery?

As a condition of sale, I got my dealer to (eventually) install an AGM battery they had on hand, likely what they use in MY25.

Yes, I was given a small amount of runaround and squawking, that neither this nor any other AGM was 'listed' for a MY24 hybrid. Maintenance dept mgr surmised it would be just fine, except as it wasn't listed it wouldn't be under warranty.

Perhaps 7 weeks later I got one sleep mode message; that has been the extent of my 12V drama so far.
They say honesty is good for the soul, so I should add that some time later I did indeed have major 12v drama. Somehow made it 130 miles to the dealer, who tested, failed and warranty replaced my AGM batt, They could've used the excuse it isn't listed for MY24 hybrids, but didn't. Also they scrambled to find and backorder an AGM as an apples-to-apples replacement, which suggests to me Ford's unresolved issues are giving dealers supply headaches, and maybe they've finally run out of the conventional batteries that likely fail more quickly.

For now things are copacetic, but since no one had time to run a full diagnostic while I was in the shop, it's only a matter of time before the replacement fails as well.

Yep happen to me on my fresh from the factory after waiting 3 months in the dusty Mexican desert before EPA cleared my Hybrid for sale. Scary, first charger wouldn't charge battery so low, second battery charger did after complaining.
FYI. Some battery chargers check voltage level to determine if charger is set to proper battery size. If a 12v battery reads below 7 volts it may not start charging because voltage is in range of 6 v battery. You can set the charger for 6v battery and it should start charging or the charger could have a "force charge setting. Usually after a short time battery will have enough charge for the 12v cycle to recognize the battery. The force mode will run while bypassing the "no battery connected" for a set time before checking the voltage.
