It finally got me I haven't driven in 3 days and went out to start it and everything is black and dead. 12v battery had 3.4v in it so I put on the charger. Fully charged and still everything all black. I hadn't checked the cell phone Ford app today and there it was."Vehicle in Battery Saver Mode" drive to refresh status etc. I don't know if is suppose to bounce back or what? Anyhow it has to go in one way or anothher. Don't care for the dealer here in the U.P. but have no choice now. They give you a bad time if you don't buy the vehicle from them.

SSM 53801 2022-2025 Maverick - Hybrid - 12V Battery Drain - Built On Or Before 17-Feb-2025
Some 2022-2025 Maverick vehicles with a hybrid powertrain and built on or before 17-Feb-2025 may exhibit a 12V battery drain. This may be due to the software installed in the air conditioning control module (ACCM). To correct this condition, perform a battery condition test as outlined in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables > Diagnosis and Testing > Pinpoint Test A. Service the battery as necessary. Connect a battery charger such as Rotunda GRX-3590 or DCA-8000 to the 12-volt battery. Download and run the "air conditioning control module (ACCM) software update" application in the Ford Diagnosis And Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. If the battery was replaced, download and run the "BCM-reset the battery monitoring sensor learned values" application in FDRS. For claiming, use causal part 19703 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Yep happen to me on my fresh from the factory after waiting 3 months in the dusty Mexican desert before EPA cleared my Hybrid for sale. Scary, first charger wouldn't charge battery so low, second battery charger did after complaining.

Get yourself a new AGM battery and save yourself any further hassles and inconveniences fooling around with the OEM battery. I (and many other hybrid owners) had many deep sleep and dead battery problems to the point of taking up most our time trying to "fix" it with trickle chargers, pulling fuses, etc. Waste of time and effort. Since I replaced the wet cell battery with the AGM, I've had zero electrical/start up issues. Here's a link to the Amazon page that has the battery that will fit your Maverick. Install is super easy and requires no modification.

You don;t have a miswired sound upgrade or a miswired dashcam do you? If not, you probably have either a failed battery due to sulfation damage, or a blown charging circuit fuse. What was the voltage after charging it followed by an 8hr soak to let the surface charge dissipate? After you charged the battery, did you reset the BMS? Ignition on, engine off, flick highbeams on 5 times, stab the brake pedal 3 times and wait for the battery light on the dash to blink off.

Should I be worried about battery failure with my '25 LOBO, or is this just a hybrid thing?

For the most part its a hybrid thing that ford has yet to fix since MY22. Replacing with a AGM battery is a short term fix for them but imo nothing is going to fix the issue until fords software engineers get their software parameters corrected. Rarely to do see it in the EB, even then its usually a bad battery. ALL MY25's have the AGM along with some of the older EB

I like many others new about this issue before getting the mav So whenever I got the low battery saver message or saw dome lights not working I would charge the battery at least 5 hours or more at jump points under hood. ,

This past Friday at 2 years old at dealer for NY safety Inspection I asked to have battery checked and service bulletin done for this issue. They said battery was bad replaced it and did bulletin . It was another lead acid but a little more power at 470 CC from I think old one was 390 cc. Never had mine drain to dead dead.

Oh a old trick to charge dead dead battery is turn on headlights after placing charger on. That would get charger going then after a few minutes turn lights off. . That used to work back in the day. Not sure if it would now
