Hey folks. I've got a '22 XLT Hybrid currently at around 68K for mileage.
The vibrations during acceleration finally got bad enough to bring it in. Always the worst at 50-60mph, but noticeable at all times during acceleration. A local dealer I didn't purchase from couldn't figure it out $900 later.
I jumped on the forum here to find a bunch of the same issue. I told the dealer and they seem to agree that replacing the CV joints might fix it. Of course Ford has the parts on indefinite backorder. Has anyone had any luck getting this or similar issues rectified? Is there a new version of this joint? I've read of multiple failures and replacements. I'm to the point I don't want to put my kids in this thing. All the Ford customer service #s did nothing for me.
