well I might have spoke to soon. Apparently the USPS label was a pre shipment label.
I live in Georgia, the package is coming from Florida and still did not arrive yet. USPS shipping label was created on April 26th, order was placed April 5th.

Hello! You did a very good job combining all these LED bulbs into a couple of panels. The plan is looking good overall, but if you were thinking about installing the additional color-changing light bulb inside and connecting this device with the completed panel? In my opinion, it can be a very good lighting solution, and you will be able to control your panel without the switches, only using the proper bulb application. If you have any problems connecting your panel, reach me via private messages.

same, mine came too long as well, trimmed just about each middle "intersection" as well as the last led off the light strip. this opened up the strip so I mushed a finger full of white silicone caulk in there to keep it weatherproof. I also put a little piece of black duct tape out of my gig bag on each intersection so light didn't reflect upwards. what's weird is the install video has 3m tape on the rear when he mounts it, mine was on the bottom. kinda think I would like the rear mount better... on to wiring....

I need to do the tape as well. I had to add adhesive sealant to seal the end of the light strip. My 3m was also at the bottom. It worked. I ended up cracking the plastic piece when cutting it to make it shorter.
