the "L" or "M" is just another line of code anyway, not like its mechanically doing anything. in our mav, pushing the "L" tells the ecu/tcu to 'hold gear as long as possible and upshift at redline', and in the explorer "M" tells the ecu/tcu to 'look for paddle shifts else upshift at...
I tried it on my XLT, didn't work. Might need a ford model with memory settings, which i don't even think the Lariat Lux has. That way there's a module for the mirrors, because they'll need to know where to return to when not in reverse.

May I request one of these brackets to also mount up a key200.4 ? Will any of you do an etsy/ebay or something along those lines ?
I have amp power wiring coming and i was just going to do a sub/amp to go with my upgraded speakers all around (i ran...
it means the DRLs are their own circuit, therefore have their own lead (wire) coming from th ecu. so the lariats should have an extra dedicated wire just for the DRL.
from what I've played with in forscan, I think the drls have their own lead on the lariats. if I activate the DRL in my xlt it returns an open circuit malfunction.
just got home with mine. to my surprise got a call this afternoon and it was finished. so under 2 days for me!
ps: i could swear the bottom line of the recall was "fill tank with gas". i got mine back with 1 tick, not washed, etc.... but i have the truck back, and i'll take that over the...
some more pics, also love the "boroscopio" they wrote on it, lol, guess this was a hermosillo test vehicle for seeing if they could boroscope the holes instead of dropping the tank.
finally here for the inspection, this is their first time doing an inspection... 2 little nicks in the gas tank, probably getting replaced so back in a loaner car I go. I got here right at 8am, 2nd vehicle in line for service and they had it out for inspection in 2 hours, just FYI for anyone...
I figured that would happen so i used my mutli-tool with the wood plunge-cut blade instead of trying some sort of scissor-type tool, worked perfectly and allowed me to shave a little off each time till i got it just right.
same, mine came too long as well, trimmed just about each middle "intersection" as well as the last led off the light strip. this opened up the strip so I mushed a finger full of white silicone caulk in there to keep it weatherproof. I also put a little piece of black duct tape out of my gig...
yes on just parking lights it works just fine, but then the truck reverts to auto on next key start. so we're trying to get the drl's to be the parking lights on auto.
