OK, I see that the positive connection is a 5/16-18 post, but, how do I attach to the negative post that has no threads?

Thanks Gary. I think I need a deep socket wrench to do that, which I don't have. Am I correct? BTW, what size fits?

It’s been a year since I did mine so unsure of the size but as I recall you may be able to use an open end wrench. I’m not able to check size at this time.

Golly, I kinda doubt 5/16-18 would still be used. I would expect M8-1.25 would replace these in modern vehicles.
