IMO, I think you should remove these items from the build in order for it to be built sooner and use your ford pass points you get when truck is purchased and use those points to help pay for some of these items from the dealer accessories dept or a separate 3rd party supplier

Splash Guards, Molded, Front and Rear (4-piece)
Protective Film Hood/Fenders
Window Air Deflector (4-Piece)
Roadside Assistance Kit
Ash Cup / Coin Holder
Console Vault
if the OP is good with paying $36k+ he should remove a lot of accessories and get a lariat.

I got your link to work.

I'd go this route: https://shop.ford.com/configure/mav...16C.41H.993.FI4AD.LAR.]?gnav=header-trucks-bp

Only $400 more than your current selections, doesn't have all the dealership add-ons, and has the better CP360 Assist. That said, change your liners to not include the carpeted mats. I literally still have mine in their plastic wrapper in the garage because I use the liners. You can't use both.

I would consider upgrading the ash cup coin holder to the full blown smokers package for $140.00 since it comes with a cigarette lighter AND PRESUMABLY GREATER AMPERAGE CIRCUIT TO HANDLE THE LOAD. Then extend the wire to the bed area to have the greater load available for accessories.

Lastly, floor mats will be worth it over a black OEM carpet. Good luck...it is a marvelous vehicle.
Was wondering about those! They're worth it?

The only option I would drop is the power moon roof, will only lead to problems in a state that gets so much icing on vehicles.
OK, makes sense I suppose...

Keep the engine block heater (you can't add it later). Keep the keypad.

Keep the luxury package.

360 is nice but not that great.

Dump everything else that is optional and do it later.
Curious about the keypad. It's worth the money?

I don't understand asking for other people's input.... It's your truck... you don't need validation from other people... If I were to ask folks what they thought of my build, they would tear it apart... and then I'd be ordering something that I don't really want.
There's some car and truck stuff I haven't been able to deeply delve into yet, and some features don't make sense for everyone. I've gotten a lot of great advice already about some pitfalls so I would definitely say I'll be making a more informed purchase I'll be happier with now! Thank you everyone.

In the end, however, you might come out ahead getting a Lariat. Your configuration with the following configuration -- 2024 XLT Hybrid in Azure Gray with XLT Luxury Package, CP360, Bed Tie Down Locking Rails with 2 Locking Brackets, Tailgate Lock, Engine Block Heater, SecuriCode™ Keyless-Entry Keypad – MIC, Floor Liners, & Power Moonroof -- comes out to $35,195.

A similar 2024 Lariat Hybrid comes out to $37,280. I think there is enough added to the Lariat to justify the additional $2K.
Could you go into just a little detail about why you think that? Thank you!

In the end, however, you might be better off buying one of the 2023s for sale at Long McArthur Ford in Salina KS. I think there is an Area 51 XLT with the XLT Luxury Package and CP360. Even with the $2500 ADM, you are below the price you would pay for the 2024. Reach out to Tim Bartz (@fordvideoguy) if you are ready to buy now.
Appreciate it.

change to xl, with the $$$ saved add the hitch and drop in bedliner (or a rug!)
I just really think the XLT is for me!

If you want a hybrid I wouldn’t wait to long to pull the trigger. Even now it may be difficult to find a dealer with hybrid allocations left.
Thank you, should be soon.

I can't see your build for some reason? Iconic silver doesn't show when it's dirty, I love the lux package, and the co-pilot 360, the CP saved me a good bit on my auto insurance.
I don't usually see people talking about White or Silver. I really like Azure but $495... I dun like that.

Personally here is what I would drop:
Splash Guards
Protective Film
Window Air Deflector
Roadside Assistance Kit
Ash Cut/Coin Holder
Carpeted Floor Mats (Just go with the liners)
Power Moonroof
Console Vault
IMO, I think you should remove these items from the build in order for it to be built sooner and use your ford pass points you get when truck is purchased and use those points to help pay for some of these items from the dealer accessories dept or a separate 3rd party supplier
I can't access your build but I echo @OleFordGuy. Don't add anything to your order that you or your dealer can add after the fact.
I would drop the dealer options that you can get later as there are better aftermarket options out there. I also recommend spray in bedliner over drop in (I'll never buy a drop in again)
Thank you everyone! How's this?

A lot more reasonable than your original one. I like it a lot! Should be a quick easy one for Ford to actually Deliver in a reasonable time. Well Done. One final key is research your dealers in your area and find out their available allocations from Ford for the vehicle. The more available allocations the better your chance of actually getting it. Can't stress that enough.

Since you have the 360 option I would seriously consider adding the 360 assist to get the active assist (wife had someone stop quickly to turn right and Mav successfully stopped in time but she tried to steer left and avoid but left steering was prevented because someone was coming about 75mph in blind spot. Also the active cruise Is also in the 360 assist package. Active cruise will work and stop with traffic and auto resume when traffick allows (it's tough though to keep foot off brake pedal which turns off cruise while cruise stops a few feet from vehicle being followed so set distance to further away). Also if resume button is pushed while in a turn the cruise will delay acceleration until steering is straightened out. Also if behind someone at slower than set speed if left turn is set to three blink pass cruise will start acceleration to pass before wheel is turned. It's really nice once learned but it is somewhat pricey.

I'd personally drop anything that isn't a core part of the build. For example, the floor mats and the mud flaps can be done later. And in my opinion, there are much better 3rd party options anyway.

I'd do a spray in vs drop in bed too.

For that much money on an XLT, might want to think about a comparison to a Lariat.

@Potentilla I forgot to mention that you should check out the list of dealers MTC members recommend or want to warn you against using here in this sticky thread under Ordering

(1) 🤝 List of honest dealerships for Ford Maverick buyers | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions

Let me know if you cannot find the link to the Google Spreadsheet I maintain for MTC.

Regarding the Lariat over XLT, I believe there is a comparison table listing the 18 differences between the XLT and the Lariate somewhere on MTC. Ford decided to eliminate variation with the Lariat by combining most of the packages and factory options into the base Lariat. Plus, there are options/features in the Lariat you cannot get in the XLT. One of the biggest ones most people cite is the CP360 Assist+ (and the sliding rear window). There are other differences as well. If all else fails, review the Long McArthur ordering guides for the XLT and Lariat to note all of the differences.

I thought 360 assist could be added wherever co-pilot 360 could be added to.

Nice selections, but i would remove nearly everything that could be added after receiving vehicle - especially the mudflaps. They have been a constrained item for 2 years now.

there are lots of good options to add these things later even 3rd party ones that might be better than OEM options.

That being said, I do like the idea of paint protection film. Did not have it on my 22 and added myself after. Was a job but glad i did it. It does cost some $$ to have someone else do it.

Not sure why you think you need tailgate lock. Save yourself $40. it is just an extra to prevent thieves from taking your tailgate off. Unless you are in rather high crime area you likely don’t need it. The tailgate already has power lock included.

heated seats/mirrors are included in XLT Lux which you have here

personally i love my sunroof and would get it again. Had one in both my 2 previous vehicles and never a problem. Love the hybrid too.

azure grey is nice choice. Someone just got it and posted pics. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...ure-gray-2024-maverick-here.39154/post-701946

finally, definitely need an MTC decal to finish off your build. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/maverick-truck-club-decal-glossy.36932/
