Constant CarPlay and Ford Notices

I have started getting 4-5 notice pop up on my CarPlay. I have to answer the same exact notices and confirmations daily. Does anyone know how to stop or limit these? I understand the context and the reasoning behind the occasional consent and acknowledgement, but multiple times a day is frustrating. Thanks

Are you sure it is not text messages?

no, not texts. repeated messages to allow ford to listen to our conversations on the the microphone (creepy and a HARD no), another ore generic message about agreeing to something regarding navigation, and a third message agreeing to something around android auto.

I have an XLT (non-Sync) and use CarPlay every day and don't get any messages like that at all.

Pics are worth 1,000 words... Hard to say what settings to look at without a little more context.

yea, I need to take a photo next time, though it does seem like it maybe sync3 related. I also need to get a longer cable as I know the android auto message only comes up when I plug in, and I run a short 6" cable normally...

You mentioned you are saying "no" to these? If so, that is almost certainly why. They got a "no" from you and are going to ask every time you start the vehicle. If you said "yes", it would stop asking you. Not saying I think you need to feel forced to say "yes", but that is almost certainly why these keep popping up.

I click continue on the message above, and the one that reads like similar for navigation/sync3, the only one I click no to is the one where ford wants to use what they hear via the microphone for marketing and other purposes.

You are not alone. I too constantly get messages and queries on my Ford Maverick Hybrid Lariat. I will start taking pictures. Although there is a lot of different ones. One is Constantly asking me if my user behavior data can be accessed . Seems like once is enough. Of course NO is the answer.

I had this issue with a Sync3 setup.

I had this issue (among other things, settings not saving, ect) and it stopped only after I manually updated Sync:

Was on SYNC Version 3.4.22251 SYNC Update to 3.4.23188

Another reason I've never updated my Sync 3 system since getting my Maverick in March of 2022.
