Greetings
New Maverick Hybrid owner for a week now. My first Ford. I had issues connecting with my previous iPhone. Carplay just wouldn’t kick in. I had a phone upgrade a few days ago and I’m getting this same message when I plug it with no keys in the ignition.

indexing…. Then a no media available message.
if I turn on the ignition or just set it to accessories and replug the iPhone then CarPlay will eventually work. It’s just very annoying. My other car works as soon as I plug it in.
it is an expected behavior with Ford Sync 3?
I am using the original charging cable that came with the phone and it works flawlessly with other vehicles.
