As the time approaches, is anyone else concerned that their dealer may not properly convert MY22 orders to MY23 and we end up losing our priority and are on the bottom of the list?

Have you seen the people that work at dealerships? Not much different than the folks making your Subway sandwich. So yea YOU better be on top of it.

That is an issue (seeing that many didn't pay any attention to ROVP/COVP process). I do work @ a dealership. Ford will send out instructions to dealers (expecting them in early Aug). But will the right people read them?

The sent out a ton of info about ROVP. And email reminders to check orders where this was missing..... but there were many dealerships where the right people didn't get the correct info.

I'm sure the correct steps for 22 to 23 transition will be posted here when they are released. I'll do it if no one else does!

This is a major concern no doubt, also I think FVG said that 22 orders will be in front of 23’s, all the 22’s will no longer be in order from ordering date, they will all be lumped together.

Be prepared to tell your salesman how the process works. Arm yourself with all the info we have gathered here. Pray they don’t fudge it up. 🙏

@fordvideoguy has covered the conversion process many times in his videos. But just like y'all, I feel it's Murphy's Law in this whole process. Heard way too many horror stories already.

FVG did mention that it would be best to get an order in for a MY23 if your Mav isn't scheduled by the end of the month, HOWEVER, there is a CHANCE that your MY22 could get scheduled sometime in August. I guess my question is if you retain that MY22 order in hopes of August scheduling, does your MY23 order still have priority over NEW MY23 orders?

Also, if anyone could answer this, as I'm sure Tim covered it in one of his videos: We can order a different Trim Level/Packages with a MY23 rollover and still keep MY22 priority, right?

I initially ordered CP360 on my XLT (removed it in hopes of getting scheduled), but the longer I wait the more I'm thinking I'd rather have Lariat LUX/CP360. So if I ordered a MY23 Lariat LUX/CP360 due to my MY22 XLT being unscheduled, would it still have priority over the new MY23 orders?

I asked Tim this very question on his last You tube video on Tuesday night. My question was this "Are you confident that if I change My22 order from a eco boost to a Hybrid in Early August when ordering My 23 that I will keep the My 22 priority over new My 23 orders. His answer was "Yes, I am confident." ..... Unless Ford puts this in writing, that's about as good as we can do. Still makes me a little unsure, but I'm going to go for it!

You can put in that 23 order however you would like and it will get priority over the new 23 orders since you had a 22 order.
