Received a recall notice in the mail stating my vehicle fails to confirm to FMVSS 108 Section 9.3.6 Turn Signal Lamp Failure

What is the issue?
THe turn signal outage detection system may not send a notification to the driver if only one of the two rear turn signals lamp bulbs on either side has failed.

What will Ford and your dealer do?
Update the Body Control Module (BCM)

Fix takes less than half of a day

Yes, all Mavericks made before mid-late December 2023 have this recall.

Anyone else receive this? yes I received it, but I do know that if you have LED bulbs in your turn signals it will cause it to hyperflash after the software update. I have added the LED lights to all my rear lights including the third brake light. So I'm hoping that there is a fix to avoid the hyper flashing like there is a bulb out when you have replaced the standard bulbs with LEDs.

Yes I got my notice last week haven't made an appointment with dealer yet

Interesting that I didn't receive anything about this from ford or my dealer.i saw the issue on this forum. Texted the salesperson I bought my maverick from and she made the appointment. The fix took 45 min.
