Comparing 2022 XL Hybrid to 2024 XL Hybrid - physical differences

I want to sell the 2022, if price is right I'd sell the 2024.
Both have Factory options of; Co-Pilot 360, Trailer Hitch and Spray-in Bed Liner (2024 has bed tie down rails)

on 2022 I added cruise switches and programmed so now has cruise, I added the FoMoCo Tail Gate Power lock (to be added to the 2024) and FoMoCo Front and Rear Mud Flaps. Has 11,8xx miles, just got out of body shop (same day as picking up the 2024 (Feb 27). Asking $23,500, look for complete ad in Market Place.

Click on the Maverick Truck Club logo on home page. Scroll down to "Market" . Look for "Mavericks for Sale". Hope this helps.

Just picked up my ordered 2024 XL Hybrid (a 2023 "roll-over") today, Feb 27, 2024. I have a 2022 XL Hybrid. Noticed a few differences.

2022 is Velocity Blue
2024 is Atlas Blue

2022 has exhaust Resonator
2024 has no resonator

2022 dash indicates 2 rear seat belts (has 3 belts)
2024 dash indicates 3 rear seat belts

2022 temp knob has temp displayed on knob and info screen (early 2022 build)
2024 temp knob has no temp display, only on info screen

Wife likes Atlas Blue, I like the Velocity Blue, One is for sale, guess which one!
The 2022 Velocity Blue with only 11,8xx miles, see it in the Market Place.

It'd be great if MO would get rid of the requirement to have a front license plate - truck looks much better without them

Illinois still requires a front plate, but I leave them off.

Thanks for the pic's. I especially like seeing the color comparison as I like blues however I was always town between Alto being to dark and Velocity being to light so I went Silver.

Having the temp indicated on both the knob and the info screen is better because the display is always on the knob and goes off on the info screen after a few seconds. With no display on the knob you have to change the temp knob to see where the temp is set when the info screen displays it. I'll miss it on the 2024 now that I know it was on the 2022.

On my 23 XLT there are two temps on the information center, One is the outside temp/ the other is the AC temp setting

Ford Makes exactly that, its called Lightning Blue and it is a fantastic color. I had it on my Fusion and it was my favorite Ford Blue hands down. Wish it was available on the maverick.

Congratulations on getting your second Maverick! I appreciate your comparison of the differences between the two years. I know on my '22 Lariat the temperature knob does not have the temp displayed and is on the screen. Believe that happened for later '22 builds due to supply issues. Personally, I like having the temp on the screen. It's a bit harder for my old eyes to see those small numbers on the dial.

And, I have to agree with your wife. I like the Atlas Blue a bit better than the Velocity. Perhaps one of the first mods for your new ride is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

I replaced my 2022 Maverick with a 2023 Maverick and these changes were noted:

2022 is Velocity Blue
2023 is Atlas Blue as Velocity Blue was no longer available. I actually like the Atlas Blue better.

I have purchased a complete HVAC unit for my XLT (single display) to again get the temp displayed on knob and info screen. I will update when completed.

I know at least for Ecoboosts Ford switched to a resonator patch mid MY22.

There is an F150 in that color in my neighborhood. I agree, the color is fantastic. Not sure why Ford got rid of it.
