Results / info from @Asaleigh:

It made 303hp 346tq with just a warm air intake on e50.​

I got a meowless downpipe, intercooler and afe exhaust showing up this week. Gunna go back an do a max effort (stock turbo) dyno pull hopefully in the next few weeks. Curious if it will make much difference.​

So why is Cobb leaving so much power behind? Cobb wants to sell tunes and tuners also. Something not adding up here. Most tunes for the 2.0 on 93 add 40hp 60tq from just about every shop Ive researched. Steeda,5star.livernois. This engine is not new

Allen said the tune from Cobb was just being super safe. It's the same-ish 2.0 out of a lot of cars but it's got some newer different stuff from say a focus st..

What downpipe did you get?? Haven’t seen much on the market at all in regards to those

How much abuse can the 2.0 setup take? We know the hybrid is bulletproof, I'm curious to see how these 2.0s hold up, especially in tuned form.

I have friends running around in 500hp focus sts with the 2.0.. and from what I've seen the block in the maverick has some improvements over that older block. The trans is the scary part, who knows. It's ford so it'll have transmission issues. Haha.

Ideal world a modified 2.0 with the hybrid's e-cvt? Nah, I'm just kidding. But that is something that concerned me about the Ecoboost. The hybrid has transmission tech very similar to Toyota, whereas the 8 speed in the Ecoboost was developed by GM I believe as a partnership between GM and Ford. Same partnership that gave GM ford's 10 speed.
