XL owner. I have been looking at various after market and oem tie down solutions. Some d-rings and the pre-threaded holes in the bed worked great. Highly recommend it. I went with 4 on each side, maybe overkill. But $20 versus hundreds for a rail system.

What size and threads are the screws/bolts to fit the holes?

Nice solution.

You may already be aware, but a DIY strut channel rail system can be had for less than $100 using the same threaded holes.

I did the same on my my26 and it worked out well picked up on Amazon
Bolts are M8x1.25 had to use a M8 tap to clean out the holes from the sprayed in bed liner.
