Just within this thread, there are at least two September Lariat Lux hybrids that have received production dates before outstanding XLT Lux hybrids like yours from Jun/Jul/Aug.

At least anecdotally, it’s becoming clear to me that Ford is building the Lariat Lux orders before the (earlier) XLT Lux orders, likely due to the higher revenues. From their perspective, if they’re gonna roll somebody over due to lack of components, I’d bet they’d much prefer to lock in the higher price sales first.

I totally understand the Short-Term financial impact of Ford producing Lariats, but as an Early Adopter who ordered a week after the Mav was announced, they are NOT building Long-Term Customer satisfaction by do this.

Totally agree, and it's a sad situation. For so many of us, the Maverick was just the perfect vehicle combination of practicality, utility, and looks, and I for one was fully ready to be a complete fan-boy. Perhaps I still will when I finally get mine, but I honestly expect that won't be until early Spring of 2023, given the still large number of identical orders in the queue ahead of me. I just hope my old Honda holds out until then!

I also want the @Dealerinsider to negotiate with Ford as the @fordvideoguy does. You get many orders thru the forum, you should do something for the members. I know it's also a hard time for you. But as a big dealership, I think you have some power to do that.

Estimated delivery date 4/27 - 5/3, then changed to 5/4-5/10 (expected delay in transfer from rail to convoy in Delaware)
arrived at chapman on 5/1
Chapman notified me on 5/2 that they received it along with many others and will be reaching out.
Contacted by Chapman to talk numbers on 5/4.
Picked up Truck on 5/5.

side note, found the ford chat helpful but hit or miss on how much the information they give you, but provided the most up to day (day behind) information on my status for the maverick. I believe they said they are updated the next morning.
