There is nothing to work on until the truck is here. That's exactly how it worked with Ed. That's exactly how it works at Horsham.

You guys want constant updates from the dealer about everything. 95 percent of the time they don't get any new news either.

Most of the time everyone is trying to figure out allocations and all that bs. Waste of time.

Price protection is for msrp Einstein not dealer orders below invoice.

If you lack the business and or negation skills I recommend you don't buy from a dealer and go to carmax
I always love it when someone wants to lecture me on the internet even though they type and spell like a third grader. Negation skills, you say?

You don't know what you're talking about or what we are talking about. If you did then you would know that it does not work the same at Philly as it does at Horsham.

Come back when you have something intelligent to add to the conversation.

IINM it also charges a cheaper invoice to the delaer (to original price protected amount) which is the premise of the way the deal was structured if horsham is doing final invoice and pocketing the difference that's pretty unethical

If we get rolled over, then hopefully them not honoring price protection won't matter. If we get a private offer based on difference than we should get the difference from Ford instead of thr dealer.

That part was clarified by Ashlie. She said if it rolled over, they'd honor the original 3-4% (depending on when you ordered) under invoice on the MY23 order, at the new prices of course which is absolutely fair. And the private offer is separate.

But now if your MY23 is delayed long enough where Ford increases the price several times again, you're on your own. :ROFLMAO:

Long McArthur has the better management team. Smart enough to know when they have a secret weapon, and smart enough to let him do his thing and they reap the rewards.

As far as whether or not Chapman keeps their end of the deal.. if you're with Horsham, let us know if they do or not. Because they're not going to answer anything about your deal ahead of time, that much is clear.
They gave me 4% under FINAL invoice. Still a good deal, but I questioned my price when prices changed in December and was told (email) it was still the original deal. I don't know what changed. Ir was $800 more than anticipated.

You can’t blame them. Not everyone is as internet or YouTube savvy as Tim Bart’s. As long as they keep their end of the deal is all good to me. Tim is only as good as long as the owner allows him to be. He doesn’t have the final say in what goes on at LM. He’s just a front man for that organization.
Has nothing to do with with internet savvy. Tell me you are selling me something for a price and the charge more has more to do with integrity. It is also stupid business when I am local and will not use them again with 4-5 other Ford dealerships within 20 minutes..

It's a ford problem.. Everyone past the costs on to the consumer. Ford passes it to the dealer and the dealer to you
Has nothing to do with Ford. The price is protected by Ford, the dealership will get the money from Ford. If they would have told me from the beginning it was FINAL invoice, I would have bought it from them and be happy to pay the extra $800. Even in December, at price increase from Ford, I was assured I would be paying my order price (email communication). It was still a great price, but I just can't deal with poor integrity.

Whatever invoice pricing at delivery will be discounted. Blame Ford

It's still cheaper than msrp.

I agree it sucks but it's what it is
I understand what you are trying to say. I tried to understand. Wrote email in December to find out if my price had changed. I was assured by the GM, the price was the same.
From that email I gather price protection for MSRP would be honored. Since the invoice is lower (price protection), the 4% under invoice is lower than new invoice, less money out of pocket for dealer.
Again, if they would have told me the 4% under FINAL invoice during ordering, I would have been OK with it. Still a good deal, but $800 more than expected.
Yes, I almost walked away from it, but I would have rewarded them with 10k+ for my RR Hybrid, for their unethical behavior. I'm still enjoying the Maverick, but EVERY time I get a chance I mentioned my experience. It's all on emails and my loan.

It's very obvious you will be paying four percent under invoice at the time of delivery and current invoice pricing.

It still beats MSRP.
If the dealer, in an email, tells you "the price you order is the price you get plus tax, tags and doc fee", how is it VERY obvious it will be the current invoice price? Specially when orders before mine, delivered after December, received the original invoice 4% under.
Yes, great deal. Yes, I almost walked away for $800, but I was not going to reward them with 10k+ in profit. Yes, they have no principles. Just tell me the final price change because MSRP changed. How about giving me the "option" to buy at price protected MSRP or 4% under new Invoice. I still find it funny I got the original finance rate from Ford, instead of the current one, at the time. My understanding was that you could not mix offers. Either MSRP, offers and finance rate at time of order or current one. One thing I think we can agree with is that we can agree to disagree.
