As per our manual....if you haven't changed your oil, change it.2025 lariat, how do you turn this off?
I'm 69 - happy Mav hybrid owner and still do my own oil changesIāve made an observation,
Ecoboost guyz find answers in the manual first and if they canāt then they ask in here.
Mavbrid guyz ask in here first.
I think itās because us old farts buy Ecoboostās
and the Youngers buy Hybrids.
Itās a different mind set. Us old guys consider asking for help without first trying to figure it out on or own means we were defeated, we were not up to the task.
BUT !
It seems the younguns do a lot more to their Mavās.
Us old farts just drive em.
I'm 68 and a happy Mav hybrid owner as well. I don't do my own oil changes though. Did hundreds of them when I worked at a garage working my way through school!I'm 69 - happy Mav hybrid owner and still do my own oil changes

I did sameā¦worked an auto repair garage, helps pay for my college tuition. Even tho have all the tools, I donāt do oil change anymore. I think Cherokee missed the markAlmost all the other Maverick hybrid owners Iāve met in person are gray haired retired guys.EB owners Iāve met, have typically been young guys. Likely a good mix across the spectrum on all accounts. Given that the majority of users on this forum are 60+, your assumption seems flawed.
I do still change the oil and filter on my Cub Cadet riding lawn mower!I did sameā¦worked an auto repair garage, helps pay for my college tuition. Even tho have all the tools, I donāt do oil change anymore. I would create a EPA mess if I did these days!
My 3 sons watched me, learned from me and they do their own oil changes. The good n bad news is they use my driveway, tools, etc.
