How to reset Oil Change light?

So while I had my truck in for the airbag recall-which didn't happen-I had them do an oil change and tire rotation since it was just 100 miles short of the recommended mileage. Now when I start my truck, I get the reminder that an oil change is needed. I guess the tech didn't reset it. Does anyone know the procedure to reset it without going back to the stealership? Thanks in advance.

I am sure it is different, but a lot of vehicles would have you turn on key, open door, go thru hoops, say two poems and three Hail Marys, and that is just to get you started. That's another reason why I do not do my own oil changes.

I would just call the dealer service department and they can tell you.

You can reset it through the menu. Menu to settings, vehicle and then scroll down to oil life.

Page 304 of Owners Manual:

Settings	Press the OK button, then from this menu scroll to the following message.
Oil Life Reset	Press the OK button, then from this menu scroll to the following message.
Hold OK to Reset	Press and hold the OK button until the instrument cluster displays the following message. Reset Successful
When the oil change reminder resets the instru- ment cluster displays 100%. Remaining Life {00}%
If the instrument cluster displays one of the following messages, repeat the process. Not Reset Reset Cancelled

Thanks everyone. I made sure have the latest software version but when I go to SETTINGS, there is no OIL LIFE RESET. I have INFORMATION; DISPLAY; DRIVERS ASSISTANCE;VEHICLES SETTINGS and MY KEY. I went under each of those. Nothing about OIL LIFE RESET.

OK I found it! During my search when I hit OK under INFORMATION, it showed only TRAILER LIGHT STATUS. Turns out that is the last item on that sub menu. I toggled up and found the oil reset along with MY KEY INFO, SEAT BELTS and other settings on the 1st page!

Makes you wonder if the stealarship actually changed the oil...
Did you look to see if its a new filter? Check the color of the oil?

Yup. Thats the 1st thing I did before I started to get the oil change reminder. I had a bad purchase time with the dealership. Only reason I let them do the oil change & tire rotation was the truck was going to be in there for the airbag recall- which didn't get done.
