Nice, but I dont need disco or rave color changing or jumping to the music. I only want the ice blue in the foot wells. I'm sure the LED modules from the dealer are pretty inexpensive. Easy enough to splice into the one in my center console. Could probably do this for less than $100 with factory parts.
Let us know.

How does the light attach to the center console panel?

I didn’t even realize that I had the foot well lights until this post. I went into the settings and it was turned all the way down. I ordered the light for the middle and will give it a try.

When I take the foot well lights out to splice into I’ll check on the number.

I was also thinking of illuminating the 4 door panel pockets with indirect lighting. I did this on my 94 silverado and it made it much nicer. Mine were full intensity green and were not too bright. Heres 2 piece set of the ambient lighting designed for toyota. I'm sure the plugs could be had pretty inexpensively, or cut the plastic back, and solder directly to the pins. They have ice blue. I have seem them as low as about $12 a pair

Side note, what color is the stock trim/ambient light? It's lighter than icy blue and more blue than sea green. I've been trying to find the best color LED strips to match to install in the bed.

You did a helluva job đź‘Ť. It looks very good.

I also added an ambient light to the center cubby area. I went the easy route and used a USB led light. I switched it to the color that best matched the interior lights and called it a wrap. I paid around $6 for the USB lights.

It's doesn't look as good as yours, but I can't complain for 6 bucks.

Good idea. I don't like fumbling around when it's dark looking for stuff in that area either. Just ordered a 4=pack for $15 Cdn. Will put one in my wife's Buick (she has the same dark area no lighting) and will keep 2 as spares. ;)

I like the OEM style and may eventually do that mod, but until then the little USB light looks like it might be a winner. Where did this come from? Can you link to it?

Im have a 22 1st edition Lariat and it came with the ambient lights in both foot wells, the console area, and in both front door latch/handles. Sounds confusing as to what everyone posted have!!

Closest I could ever find is ice blue.

Looks great! And where’d you get your cubby phone mount?
