Center armrest console removal how-to?

Anyone know how to remove the front armrest center console? There are two exposed bolts on the bottom on each side (see attached picture) that are exposed if you slide the front seats forward. These were easy. But I couldn't figure out the next step.

The reason I'm asking is that I want to put an eye bolt through the back wall of the center console storage area with the eye bolt loop exposed in the storage area. I could just use a lag eye bolt and screw it in, but I'd really prefer to use a proper bolt and get a nut around on the other side. It seems like there should be plenty of space behind the back wall of the storage area, but I can't figure out how to access it.

The eye bolt is to provide a secure anchor point. Other ideas welcome.

Regarding the console, it looks like it's all one piece. All of those "seams" in the plastic are just for show. Glad I asked for help! Hopefully the bottom is open and I'll be able to access my target area from underneath.

Wow, the title of your thread caused a major flashback to the days of my youth in the 1960s and 1970s. I thought you wanted to permanently remove the console so you could maybe snuggle up to your sweetey as we used to do in our bench seat pickup trucks back in the day. That way when you drove into the high school parking lot all of the other kids could tell you were an item.
