Button function

Thanks for all the responses. I tried that button before leaving work. It does nothing but make the screen show time and date only. Doubt I will ever use it. I also tried the face slap and donut button. Nobody got slapped and no donuts pooped out. Used the hold feature for a couple of stop lights, then turned it off. Might be handy on hills, but I don't live in the mountains so probably another feature I'll never use.

The Mountains??? What the heck do the mountains have to do with the "Hold" button??? I think you're confused.....

As long as I'm on the subject of "what does this do", here's another one. When putting the truck in reverse and the rear camera comes on, there is a small blue circle in the upper right corner of the screen. Has a P in the circle. I actually have pressed this and the only difference I can see is the circle changes from blue to gray. Can you guys fill me in?

Great example of stupid manual setup.

Section on Rear View camera and display and such, mention nothing about it.

So it's probably in whatever section discusses that feature and the fact the icon is there.
So it's easy to find if you magically know what the feature is, at which point you probably don't need to read about it.

Sometimes, when I don't know what a button does, I park in a safe place and you know... just push it and see what happens.

I typically leave the Mav running and go into the store and tell my wife do NOT push that button. Then when I come back I asked her if anything happened.
