Thanks for all the responses. I tried that button before leaving work. It does nothing but make the screen show time and date only. Doubt I will ever use it. I also tried the face slap and donut button. Nobody got slapped and no donuts pooped out. Used the hold feature for a couple of stop lights, then turned it off. Might be handy on hills, but I don't live in the mountains so probably another feature I'll never use.
Thanks again.

As long as I'm on the subject of "what does this do", here's another one. When putting the truck in reverse and the rear camera comes on, there is a small blue circle in the upper right corner of the screen. Has a P in the circle. I actually have pressed this and the only difference I can see is the circle changes from blue to gray. Can you guys fill me in?

AndyG,
Your donut dispenser is obviously empty. Please use the Ford App to schedule service as soon as possible. If you had purchased the Service Contract the restocking of donuts would be part of your pre-paid plan.

Some people love it for drive-throughs. You have to be sure it's turned off if you go into an automatic car wash, though.

I believe that will silence the backup/cross traffic sensors.

Andy G,
I think if your try the brake hold feature for a week or so, you will really like it. It keeps the vehicle from rolling if you get distracted for a moment at a stop light. I really liked it after I got used to it. I’ve never had a vehicle that had it but now the only time I do not have it turned on is when I’m going thru a car wash. Make sure it’s off for that.

The auto engine shut off is a feature that I definitely do Not like though. I bet if someone did an accurate measurement of miles per tank with it on and again with it off, they would find they are virtually the same for a full tank of gas.

Sometimes, when I don't know what a button does, I park in a safe place and you know... just push it and see what happens. 🤷‍♂️
I did that with the squid launcher and never again....

OK, I've scanned the owners manual, googled, and searched this forum. Can't seem to find what the 3rd button from the left (4th from the right) is for. While searching, I did get a good laugh. Somebody was asking what the far right button is for. Someone commented when you press it, a hand comes out and slaps the passenger.

Now that would be a GREAT option!!!!!!! Looks like it could be a closed eye to me?

When I push that button while driving my rear camera turns on and I can see the traffic behind me.

Why am I hearing/visualizing Mary Catherine Gallagher with her hands in her armpits?

AndyG,
Wrooong.

The button on the far right was first introduced in Ford Crown Vic COP cars.
When an officer wants a donut he simply presses the button and a hand holding a donut pops out of the dash, thus appeasing his hunger so he stays out on patrol longer.
Police department motor pools were tasked with reloading the dispensers, which proved to be a costly feature. Sub-par Krispy Kreme donuts, rather than the standard and far superior Shipley’s donuts were sometimes used. This proved disappointing to many Officers, working in Northern US states and Canada where no Shipley’s vendors exist.
The Police Union got involved and worked with auto manufacturers to put the donut button in all civilian vehicles. Thus, citizens who are stopped for minor traffic violations are now able to start off on more friendly terms with Officers by giving them a fresh, hot donut.
Research has shown that this not only reduces overhead costs for Police departments but it also reduces paper work for Officers in administering the collection of fines from violating drivers.
It’s a Win-Win for everyone involved.

A donut?!? What about the cup’o joe? Ya can’t have a donut without coffee to wash down the sinker!

If you have a sunroof, be careful of the ejector seat. If you don't, be doubly careful:angel:
