Bush bar / push bar / brush guard options?

Does anyone know if we are any closer to getting some sort of bumper protection in the aftermarket? A family member has a repair shop and warned me to be careful regarding front end , says has seen customers with seemingly minor front damage( other Fords) sliding into (snow bank) or hitting chunk of ice or large branches while in the bush can too easily damage intercooler and other (very exposed) parts he has sent a couple of customers to the dealer where they face bills well over 1000$ for repairs. There was some discussions on the topic months ago but haven't heard much since.

Rough Country has one that fits the Bronco Sport (along with a number of like accessories). I had thought they might create some similar items for the Maverick but not yet.

Carid.com has a Black Horse that says it ships 5/25. For the price it's not for me. Also can't be used with Adaptive Cruise control and lane assist. I wanted those but Ford said No.

The Black Horse offering has been "available" a few months from now for a year or better so I wouldn't hold your breath.

With the Maverick not being a true body on frame truck, if the push bar or brush guard were put into actual use against a deer or something, I wonder what affect this could have on the vehicle. The Maverick, with its unibody construction, makes it more like a car with a bed on it than a true truck.

I was looking for brush guard to help persuade those Audi and BMWs not to race up and then cut in front of me. Bet the Maverick would be good at the pit maneuver.

What sort of benefit would a nudge bar add? is this more of a decorative thing or is it sort of a "I went too far forward in a parking space and bumped the vehicle in front of me" thing and the bar protects the front of the truck? I cant really see this helping in an accident or hitting a deer or anything. I see a lot of full size trucks with similar setups but thought it was more or less just a place to secure a light bar.
