Brake replacement issue, now nothing turns on

I have a 2022 Lariat. I went to replace the rear brake pads and I couldn't get it into maintenance mode. I tried for over an hour and had somebody help me. So stupid me decides to go for it anyway, i kept the ignition on made sure the break was released. I couldn't get the new brakes on because I couldn't compress the piston. Then I couldn't get the old brakes back on. So I have one pad on the rotor and a friend of mine was trying to cycle it back into brake maintenance when the break activated. Then everything went out. Now I can't get the ignition to turn on at all. It will try to turn on, but shuts right off immediately. Any ideas?

Ya, I did that. Like I said, stupid me. Besides calling a shop, I have no idea what to try.

The only good thing is it's in a garage, windows are rolled down and supposed to rain tomorrow. So, good news..... won't get wet inside.

You truck battery is likely dead, which is why it won't start. Just jump it off. As for the brake stuff, I have no idea. I'm at 95K and still on the original ones, haha.

Jimkivi, i was able to get the Ignition to stay on. It does say check brake system. I was able to roll the windows back up, and I followed the steps a few different times and it will not go into brake maintenance mode. And this was my original issue.

When I did my rears, I unbolted the power E-brake modules off the callipers and manually screwed the apply screw back, compressed the callipers and reinstalled the modules. I didn't mess with the Brakes service crap at all and they work just fine with no codes or warning lights!

Like I said, I got the ignition to stay on long enough to roll up the windows. But my issue is it still won't stay on and I can't go into break maintenance mode. Not sure, detaching the electronic parking brake is a good option as it is fully engaged at this point. Sounds like pulling the battery and detaching the parking brake module is an option, But again, with it fully engaged, not sure I should try it. How do you retract the ebrake module, or am i Ford bound?

This is crazy, my fronts months ago took less than 20 minutes.
Brake service mode not working on 22 Mavericks is a known issue, which from what Ford techs told us they have no intention of fixing. The only solution is likely a trip to a dealership where they can use a Ford computer. Forscan cannot do it.

You might have to unplug the rear calipers, use a windback tool, then compress the pistons.
Also sounds like the battery needs recharged.

I replaced the pads, all back together and same. Dash won't stay on or start. Cant lock or unlock doors, nothing. Tried jumping it, notta. Tested battery before restart and said 5 volts, left it on charger, maintained 13.8 with jumper on, lock or unlock doors won't work, second I try to start it it shuts down off then makes loud banging noises from speakers. I'll post video. Guess it's off to the dealer.....
