If you don't have a scan tool to clear codes then disconnect the battery for an hour and hope for the best.
The battery should also be charged only when disconnected.

unplug the parking brake motor from the harness. Use a 9V battery with jumpers to the terminal spades on the pb motor connector. If the polarity is correct the motor will reverse and back off the piston. If not reverse the leads.Like I said, I got the ignition to stay on long enough to roll up the windows. But my issue is it still won't stay on and I can't go into break maintenance mode. Not sure, detaching the electronic parking brake is a good option as it is fully engaged at this point. Sounds like pulling the battery and detaching the parking brake module is an option, But again, with it fully engaged, not sure I should try it. How do you retract the ebrake module, or am i Ford bound?
And when you do this - do NOT leave the truck on in anyway - since it could attempt to use the electronic brake booster still. This
9 volt battery worked for me on a friend's Audi Q7 and some Hondas. No need to mess with service mode, scan tools, etc
