Fingers crossed! The good news is that it doesn't take long for them to perform the software update on the ABS module for the recall. They were able to mine within one day with ease.

Drove my maverick home last night. Oh so happy!

Mine is going in this week for the recall software update. I will report back if the software update knocks out the custom settings for the cruise control mod and drive modes. Whether it does or doesn't I will still be backing up the ABS module settings with forscan beforehand and would suggest everyone else that has done these mods do the same.

Had the work done today and yes the dealer knocked out the Cruise Control and drive mode mod settings with ABS module software update. If anyone reading this did the Adaptive Cruise Control mod this will also knock that one out since one of the ACC settings is also in the ABS module.

Good news is I just needed to change said values back and the mods worked again.

Also as an FYI I had a bunch of one time DTC codes logged from the software update that once cleared didn't show up again.

My apologies for not picking up on the lingo, but what exactly do you mean?

"Bricked" means the truck can no longer be communicated with by their programmer.

Interesting. Can't say I know what exactly would cause that other than a bad line or two of code in the update, or an improper sequence followed to perform the update. Could have led to incomplete programming or corruption of data within the ECU? My update was performed by the dealer prior to delivery back in November and haven't had any problems.

No issues with mine either. Dealer fixed it in november before I picked it up.
