I never have figured out the BAP and to me it's the worst value today on a Maverick or any vehicle for that matter. $1600+ to take away bright wheels and emblems that look nice and probably cost as much or maybe more to add the chrome to them. As far as the interior i agree some design engineer at the factory should have thier ass kicked for bringing blue as a standard color in and force you to mix it with colors like red and green. The Grey's, blues, whites, and even the black it might be ok but the worst I've seen is the new flagship special green they just came out with. I actually saw it in person yesterday for the first time and I will say it's not as pukey as the internet shows but if you look at a 2024 brown/black next to it you say WHY, WHY, WHY, FORD!!! If forced i would still take it over paying $1600+ to get blah matte black wheels and a black interior that will be 10° hotter in the summer.
I started looking at a hybrid Maverick because they are lighter to tow behind our Mercedes Sprinter Class C Motorhome. Interior and exterior colors now have me looking at Ford Escapes and Lincoln Corsairs that are Hybrids AND actually true Plug-in Hybrids are available. No stop sells and you will find 50 Escapes to choose from for every 5 Mavericks on stock. Corsairs are kinda spendy though and the 24s had a computer software glitch that made them non-towable. Expensive lesson for consumers that bought them, added $5000 worth of tow equipment, and then discovered they won't go into tow mode. Lincoln keeps promising a fix since mid 2024 but nothing yet. Some are suing and getting buyback offers but thier tow equipment investment and some mileage discounts are gone. No reduced price offers to replace them with a 2025 so a lot of people becoming Lincoln Haters!!!
It's a little pricy but I prefer the wheels & interior and outside badging much more than the standard non BAP alternative (not sure about the 25 BAP). Changing out the wheels alone with an aftermarket option is also not cheap for a good looking set.

Yes, XLT is a dark gray versus Lariat which is a lighter gray in the middle. And the fact that neither one is what the original verdin was meant to be.
Well Tim there seems to be an exception to every rule...

Is this an XLT? We just got in a white one and they are dark gray versus Lariat lighter gray.

Mine and mrestall77 both have the matte black stripes on our BAP Lariats.
Both delivered last week.
That is good information. Weird they would be different within the same trim. I need to investigate more. Thanks.

So I think I was wrong, I looked at one vehicle inside with good lighting and the other outside dirty on a cloudy day. I think they all have the same graphics.

I actually prefer this one vs the original tire mark looking one.

Yinyl + adhesive does not do well in the sun- remember vinyl roofs and fake wood? Unless you remove them, your hood will not age well.

I just removed the BAP hood stripes this afternoon. It looks much better without them on the Eruption Green at least. Parked in the sun for awhile and used a plastic scraper to lift an edge and they pulled right off by hand. There's a very faint outline you can see if you look at it at just the right angle. We'll see if it fades away over time.
