Maybe that cold air is reaching a sensor for the battery as apposed to actually cooling it down.I started driving my hybrid maverick in June 2023-
We had 55 days over 110 degrees. I pretty much gave up on getting any electric sailing...
This summer, we set a record with 60 days over 110.
I discovered that running the ac on max coldest setting fan full blast with vents barely cracked helps electric driving on accident. Wife complaining about burning up in the back seat...
I'm not an engineer, just sharing my personal experience...
Swamp coolers are awesome; except for this year (needing repairs that it was too hot to make), they've been our primary cooling for most of summer (not monsoon season, which is usually 2-3 weeks, and we usually have to switchover at about 110 or so [but one day, a couple of years ago, it was dry enough that it held it to 82 inside at 117!]Just curious, how often do YOU deal with temperature over 110 degrees???
now *that* is a disturbing thought!Maybe that cold air is reaching a sensor for the battery as apposed to actually cooling it down.
Hmmm - where does that air burp flap behind seat lead to - HVB battery area?Maybe that cold air is reaching a sensor for the battery as apposed to actually cooling it down.
I don't have a clue how, or why-Maybe that cold air is reaching a sensor for the battery as apposed to actually cooling it down.
