I'll be the odd man out and vote for red. I love my HPR Maverick. But I think any of the darker colors look better with the new bumper, as they tone it down.

I suspect the aftermarket will very quickly come out with solutions to Ford's styling boo-boo. There's money to be made there, and it's just a bit of plastic.

I put ceramic tint all around with 93% UV blocking (even over factory and the windshield) so my interior stays nice especially with Ford’s AC pumping…BUT your point is extremely valid.

I just love me some EG

The Infra Red needs to be added as that is the main heating wave length. 99+% IR blockage!!!!

I love my carbonized grey because I have matching rims. Gives me more incentive to take it through the car wash since I hate seeing the dirt on it. Lol

I have the carb grey - it was my second choice. I LOVE the truck in black and if I ever trade in my ‘23 it definitely would be black.
Not likely tho cause I’m one of the new front end haters LOL

Based on the 2 colors you are asking about, Desert Sand would be a better match then EG.
Whether EG match ok or not is such a personal choice.

I have a ‘22 Velocity Blue and ordered VB again. But I always get blue

Eruption Green since it's extra pretty and ONE YEAR COLOR (Subject to change of course but cannot risk it not changing). I may not be willing to spend the $$$ necessary to upgrade my 2022 cactus gray XLT LUX Hybrid with 2400 miles.

I live in north central FL, and my wife's Expedition is black on black. It gets unbelievably hot! I ordered a '23 MAV in velocity blue. For a variety of reasons, I ended up with a '23 XLT FX4 in carbonized gray. I love the color, not to mention the MAV in general. If I were ordering today, it would be really hard to pass up the eruption green! I also added tint to the front windows and it helps keep the interior "somewhat" cooler.
