I have the 400 watt outlet in the bed. After figuring out that it can't even run a coffee maker, I am considering deleting it. Anyone done this? I searched the forum but couldn't find any threads.

What do you gain by deleting it, other than potentially making the truck a little less desirable at resale?

Coffee makers draw a lot of power. Pretty much anything with a heating element does.

Yep, and/or causing some random electrical issue, fuses blowing, burned wires, who knows what

Tuck the wire back into the wheel well and you can gain a new cubby spot. You need to ziptie the wires to themselves.

I moved the bed outlet into a bed cubby, idea from a member here. (Thank you Yds!)The extra bed cubby is nice. Only thing I’ve used either outlet for is to charge power tool batteries.

Can I add this with "that" part and the pig tail that is found in the glove box? This is Ingenius. I will say ford missed the point by putting the <---> arrow on the lid of the smuggler's box, any moron will figure out our hiding spot for... Whatever.

What did you do with the light and switch?
Light is gone, it only mounts in that plate. Used the switch and light wiring for bed lights I installed. Using the extra pigtail wire that came with the truck (it plugs into the plug the light went into) Just mark the light wire and switch wire when you disconnect, the plugs fit either and it can be wired backeards

Everything just unplugs, the power outlet is the hardest to deal with, wiring is tight. I used the plug for the light connected to the extra 12v pigtail wire that came with the truck to run new bed lights
