Any thoughts on a bed mat that will keep stuff from sliding. Should I go with rubber or is the TPE anti-slip? Or just go for a spray in liner?

My preference was with a bedrug since it has foam padding that fits into the grooves of the bed.

I literally got the DeeZee rubber bed mat from Amazon today. It's nice and thick and fits nice. It was less than $120. I'm pretty happy with the quality. :like:

I feel that a bed mat is good addition whether you decide to go with a spray in bed liner or not. If you will be putting a bed mat in an uncovered bed i.e. no tonneau cover then you really need to consider the weight and thickness of the mat. I believe some of the TPE versions may be prone to possibly fly out of the open bed at highway speeds if not weighted down. Just something to think about. I ended up buying one of these mats from ebay and am very happy. They are slightly blemished factory rejects and are half the price of regular unblemished. The mat is very thick and heavy 5/16" rubber, made in USA, cost $69.99.

Also, If you forgo a bedliner like I did you will want to protect the tailgate in addition to the bed. I purchased this one and feel it is every bit as good as the OEM one and only cost $38.00.

If you decide to buy the tailgate liner, then do your self a favor and purchase the hardware kit for $5.00. They are just plastic spacers that fit between the liner and metal for each of the 8 factory bolts you'll reuse to attach the liner.

With my bed mat and tailgate liner I do not see myself getting a spray in liner, at least for now.

I'm a BedRug fan. Bed liners aren't a one size fits all. The Maverick's bed is so small I can't see objects sliding around being a big deal. Have you considered a bed divider? You can install Ford's system or go the DIY route with channel strut. With the side rails you could divide your bed up many ways.

I have a factory SIBL. Things easily slide on it. I added the FORD bed mat and couldn't be happier.
It holds so well that it's sometimes difficult to pull a heavily loaded tote across the bed.

I have the sprayed liner in mine but added the Ford mat. It does prevent sliding and keeps the floor of the truck from being marred. I wish that I had something cushioned on the tailgate to prevent it from being scratched.
actually if I had a do over I would have put the bed rug on the floor and tailgate. I am not carrying wood or anything like that for me it would have been easier to take care of.

I have the factory spray in bed liner, which I love, but I also have the Bed Rug, oh my, it's awesome imo, makes it easy on the knee's, covers the bed and tailgate (highly recommend).

The rubber mats already mentioned are good also, I've had them in the past, but most don't cover the tailgate.

Probably about one of the cheapest options could be a stall mat
