I bought My Bed Mat from Tractor Supply. It even had the cut outs for the tie Down Hooks.

I’ve got the factory spray on bed liner in my 24’ Lariat but I think I’ll stop in TS and buy that rubber bed mat.
$95 and I’d bet it quiets the cabin a bit more.

Looks sturdy enough not to collapse into the bed indentations. I assume no water problems underneath.

During the 4th of July 20% sale I decided to use my Ford points to get the rubber bed mat shipped to my nearby dealership for pickup. I didn't even unroll the mat before I saw it looked like shit.



I know it's just a rubber mat for my truck bed, but I expect a $170 item to at least look new when I get it, but instead I learn there isn't any real quality control. Looks like it has twine or something embedded in the mat, sticking out so it looks cheap and would likely make it more exposed to moisture or heat and could cause it to crack more easily.

Ford doesn't handle exchanges, so I do a return and customer service sends me a new 20% off code to order it again, takes a few weeks to get figured out and shipping the new order took twice as long for some reason.



This time I unroll the mat and again find twine sticking out all over the mat, just not in such an obvious clump as the last one. Now my guess is the twine is actually meant to be part of the mat, maybe beneath the surface to help give some structure to so much sqft of rubber. But again, these are each places where moisture could get in and expand it or cause other problems that could compromise the rubber. I returned this one too, didn't bother asking customer service for a new 20% code.

I looked on Reddit and the forums for other owners of this mat and couldn't find others with the same experience as me, so my guess is Ford have a bad batch from their supplier and there is no real quality control at either Ford or the manufacturer. If you're going to buy one of these, I'd at least wait a few months and hope a future batch is actually put together correctly.

The one I received looks good and that was about 2 or 3 months ago. Maybe you just got a bad one. Hope they replace it. It does show there's not much in the way of inspection before shipping. hope they take care of you.
