A nice way to spend a couple hours with your kid(s). He and I installed the trifold hard cover from Amazon (Toptiny) and Bedrug bed mat. Not difficult at all with YouTube tutorials. Mat feels quality. I did wonder if I should’ve got the whole bed including sides covered, but looks sufficient for now. The hard cover feels solid and I do see cracks that will require additional weatherstripping at top right corners. I’m wondering why they didn’t use the same clamp type on the 1st section like they do 2nd and 3rd sections because they seem more fitted than the screw in kind at the 1st panel. In the end, it feels so much better in the bed on the old knees and it’s sleepable soft. The trifold is reasonable for the money and I have a peace of mind keeping stuff out of sight.
