Hi everyone, I plan on putting a Bluetti AC200p in my bed full time, along with a portable refrigerator, running off of the AC200p. The ac200p can run the fridge on its own for 2+ days without any help. I have the XLT lux package that includes a 400w inverter, so I can put the power brick there and charge it up whenever I'm driving, but the question for me is can I just turn the bed inverter on and off? Or would it be drawing the 400w charge rate at all times. As I mentioned, I don't really need it to draw that power all the time, the fridge only draws 50-60w, so I'd only need to charge the power bank up every couple of days.

The other question is I have an inverter/outlet in the backseat as well. I use this to run a laptop and an ROG ally sometimes. Is this 400w power limit shared with the bed? Since the ac200p charges at 400w, that's kind of a problem since my laptop and ally can use up to 330w and 65w respectively. I wouldn't want the ac200p to be charging while I'm driving, or stationary playing on the ally or doing work on the laptop. Are those 2 power supplies separate, or should I try to find another way to charge things up? I think the easiest way will probably be a smaller power brick for the ac200p if I can find one.

First question: I am not aware of an on/off switch for the inverter except for the key switch. It will be on whenever the Maverick is on.

Second Question: There is only one inverter. It is under the center console. Both outlets are connected to it. 400w total.

That's a bummer, but thanks for the info.

Have you tried charging the Bluetti on the inverter? My Delta 2 trips it out and will not charge it.

I guess my next question is do you know if there's any easy way to convert the 110v outlet to a 12v cigarette plug? Ironically I think that would be the easiest way for me to just draw less than the 400w. I have the drop in bedliner so not looking forward to working around it, but oh well I guess.

I have not yet. What do you mean by trips it out? Does it blow the fuse? Or is there an easy way to reset the inverter?

It will just blink. Doesn't blow a fuse. This happens even when I limit the charging to 200w.

It'd be kind of needless to be converting 12V to 110V back to 12V. Instead you're probably better off utilizing the DIY connector + pigtail as that's 12V up to 20A. Sufficient for a load designed for a cigarette lighter outlet as those usually max out around 10A.

Yeah, this does the same thing, although i can't limit it to 200w, so it may just be because I'm asking for all 400w. Guess I'm doing the solar setup after all. I just found some panels that will fit on my hard tonneau cover.

Does that happen to be switched and on a separate circuit already? Or would it be on full time? Sounds like it's separate from the 400w limit? Thanks.

From other posts I believe the bluetti has over voltage protector which is less than the possibly up to 15.3-15.6v. at startup the maverick 12v buss will normally have 14.7 or 14.8v. check bluetti Input limits!

You might want to just direct wire it up to your battery.

Here is a decent video with some options. Just make sure you use heavy enough wiring, and place in both a disconnect and a fuse on the circuit.

I would add a 12v outlet next to the 110v outlet.
As another member suggested using the existing DIY power point.

See the instructions starting at 2:30

This video explains how using the in car modified sine wave inverter, which is what the Maverick uses, will not work to charge a power station.. A pure sine wave inverter must be used. Add that to the list of things you can't use the Maverick 110v outlet for.

I once smoked a power tool charger when I plugged it into a modified sine wave inverter. This is why I didn't bother getting the OE inverter with my Maverick. I intend to add an aftermarket 500 watt pure sine inverter at some point in the future.

Could I just swap the actual inverter unit for thing similar Capacity and use the existing wiring?
