Lamoille Canyon, what a beautiful place :)
We were there last year for the 4th of July. These are our pictures.
I had my drone but never launched it in the park.

Unless you live in Elko. You're going to be driving on some lonely roads.
With some small climate changes.
Those with range anxieties stay away. No superchargers insight out here.

I like view from my property in Utah. It isn't too shabby. I just have to get rid of the previous property owner structure get busy on mine.

I was there in june visiting my son, he lives in Spring Creek NV. He took me up to the end of the canyon and we hiked. If i hadnt seen it with my own eyes i wouldnt have believed how beautiful it is. You just dont expect this in desert country.

Does he work at the gold mine?

In my younger days, life was a beach. In S Louisiana there was a beach called Scofield Bayou beach which was an outlet into the Gulf, an inside beach, reachable only by boat. it was part of the Gulf facing beach. Spent many days and nites on that “finger”peninsula. Great fishing there. The bayou was lined with oysters. So grabbed a few, ate raw oysters

As I got older, got into airplanes & RV stuff, headed for hills and mountains. Only once visited a beach, Tybee Island and Destin. With the plane, flew into Destin airport, did the white sand beach. One day trips out of New Orleans area.

In a nutshell, the RV trips took us to Ozarks, mountains of Utah, Colorado, Black Hills of Dakota, SmokeyMountains, plains of Kansas n Nebraska.

Beach was fun, but as got older, abhorrence of sandy mess.

I am with you on that one. Used to be a beach bum as well and just prefer the mountains now. Unfortunately, we just have hill country closed by where I live. Still much better than dealing with sand. Especially when I go camping. Just hate to have sand in my sleeping bag, tent etc.

Not at just one, He works for a company that goes to most of the mines and does logistical work for them. He used to work at one of the local gun stores before he started his present job.
Like most places outside the big cities in Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming .....
You really have to want to live there to live there.😁

I’ve never been a beach person, always mountains, trees, nature. Still am.

Find any treasure while digging?
Not a single detail about which version Maverick, what tires, awd, mode, lowered tire pressure or any issues, not by OP, not by commenters whom just want to talk about naked bodies and sharks, really?
He hasn’t responded because he found buried treasure worth billions. He now no longer cares about the beach. 😂
So -
I'm taking that a "Day at the beach" now has a completely different meaning.

A few years ago I was watching a show about off-grid living; this couple was living in the desert, with the only view of desert and a bit of scrub brush as far as one could see. They commented "Just love the view here!"
