I’ve owned and driven both in the deep sand in the OBX. I can say without a doubt the Tremor is better. The non-stop RDU engagement and dis-engagement noise and pedal feel of the FX4 drove me nuts. I’m sure it wasn’t good for it either. Never had a problem with either PTU or RDU over heating. Being able to lock the rear end makes a much better drive. Also have a lot more belly scrapping on the FX4 but never got stuck. Both aired down to 18. Any way you slice it have fun and air down.
