I have a 2024 Maverick lariat AWD non-eco …
I recently received a notification from Ford Pass app that my remote capabilities were disabled for battery conservation. The next day, I noticed that both the console outlet in the backseat and the building installed 12 V outlet in the bed. Do not work. What’s the deal with this?! Lol.
Looking for proper fuse location and any helpful info or others with similar issue… Google is not being helpful and just want to verify it’s not a fuse before calling the dealer. Also, curious if this notification is for strictly fuel operated vehicle vehicles as well as the Eco version.
I am not a super techie DIY gal when it comes to vehicles, but I am fairly tech savvy in general.
Words of wisdom? Please?😁

You've got a battery low enough in voltage or SOC that the system is trying to protect it so you can have a next Start to recharge it.

You've likely had battery saver functions happening already, lights on shorter, power ports on shorter, ect. Your notification was about Deep sleep mode being used also - the modem was turned off to conserve just a little bit more of the battery - just in case truck wasn't going to be started for awhile.

"strictly fuel operated vehicle vehicles as well as the Eco version"

Do you mean hybrid instead of Eco?
If you did - yes they both have Battery Saver functions, with Deep Sleep mode when things look worse.
Very early 2022 model?
Battery will have a stamp or sticker on it for when it was made.
3 years not too bad with all the electronics running 24/7 on these computers.

Just to confirm - you didn't miss a recall for battery replacement did you?
You have an AGM battery under the hood?

I’m not quite sure why all the hybrid owners say the AGM batteries are the be all end all! I have a 24 EcoBoost with the AGM bat, and have had problems. I still have to charge it up fully and don’t understand why! Even when I go to the dealer they put it on the charger while doing other work! Why I ask, just because they say. And people on the MTC wonder why some of us get”upset” because of sh\T that should not happen!!! Ah well, it’s a cheap mini-truck!

In this case - the reference to AGM is because only a smaller batch of EB's came with FLA batteries.
The EB's were supposed to come with AGM batteries - check your manual.

And most if not all of those FLA's were part of a recall.

Therefore if no AGM - the FLA making it 3 yrs is pretty good - and understandable if it's dying now.
But a recall was missed and she's due an AGM.

Your battery is heavily sulfated. That's due to the constant undercharging caused by the defective BMS programming in all Mavericks, F150 Hybrids, Escapes, Corsairs and Mach-e models. If you're still under the 36k bumper-to-bumper warranty, just get a new one. Otherwise, get the cheapest aftermarket T4 battery, since the BMS software error is still going to sulfate it with even the most expensive one. An AGM battery is somewhat more resistant to sulfation, but will still fail the same way when it is constantly undercharged. And they cost twice as much as the EFL battery.

Great answer. You don't sugar coat the long-standing deep sleep problem that Ford still hasn't produced a long-promised fix for.

IMO..the vehicle should operate properly at least until 36K or 36 months.
I like my truck but it will be my last Ford purchase.

Jay, Your posts are having some interesting quotes - actually mis-quotes.
Probably confusing things.

Might want to go back to the top before you had an issue with a reply, and read my post again.

My post was to Laura - not to you, or at least it seems the post above was in reply to me.

Her profile says 2022 Ecoboost, her post says 2024 EB - since I'm not assuming which is right/wrong - I asked her to check the battery. Because if it's really a '22 - the truck falls in place for possibly the FLA recall.
Which would easily explain why it's dying at 3 yrs.

If really a 24MY - then indeed likely an AGM (unless bought used and prior owner was a goofball), and shouldn't be having low voltage issues probably.

Sorry for the confusion Hey! Ya I screwed up some of my responses by trying to downsize or delete some posts. Apparently I made it worse☹

yes, I mean don’t have a hybrid… Sorry my mistake! My profile list my first Maverick, which I bought Richt to test drive to make sure I actually wanted it before pre-ordering the truck that I have now which is a 2024, which I have had under a year! Could the battery be that bad that it is dying in less than a year? was there a recall on all batteries? I did not receive a notification from Ford about any recall.
