Is it worth the extra $2200? I ordered base xlt but now that the build and price is up I am not sure its worth the extra $2200. The main reason I got the xlt was for aluminum wheels and cruise control. Also thought it would have heated seats and steering wheel but I do not see that as standard. What are your thoughts on this

XL now has cruise.

Even without it last year I ordered an xl becasue i like the interior colors waaayyy more than the xlt.

I can buy decent rims or takeoffs for much less than the 2k+ difference.

That's up to you to decide. You also get with the XLT power mirrors, locking tailgate, backseat armrest and cup holder, different colored interior.

My thoughts on rims also. I just looked and the luxury package has the heated seats and steering wheel. I think I am going to switch to xl. Hopefully it won't bump me out a few years on my build:oops: Thanks

XLT comes with power mirrors. I wanted XL with power mirrors via CP 360 but because of the constraint I had to drop it. But at least I'm paying for the price I want.

The other thing to consider is how constrained the XL is vs the XLT. Not only do you get a few more things over the XL (probably not $2200 more, but still), you also get a much higher chance of production.

Wheels, door keypad entry, power mirrors, seat cloth upgrade, power lock tailgate, rear seat arm rest and cup holders…. To me these are worth the extra but there is nothing wrong with the XL ( or the Lariat ).

Yea I did get the cp360 pretty much for power mirrors and like the blis feature.

I dropped sibl last year, but 360 stays and take my chance. Did switch to EB this year since same price now, so I've got that in my favor.

I also had to drop Cp360 for my EB order which got scheduled right after I dropped it. So it's all on how soon you want your Maverick to get built. Because of the drop I'm getting my hybrid this week (hopefully) and EB scheduled for build on 10/11 so expect delivery some time in Nov.

Same story here. I ordered the 23 XLT but the trims have changed a bit since 22. I wanted the wheels, different interior, and bed liner. Seems that the bed liner no longer comes on XLT. For the price savings I can choose my own wheels, get an aftermarket spray in bed liner, and get Katzkin seats. Other niceties like wrapped steering wheel, bed storage compartment, etc aren't a huge deal. CP360 is still available on the XL and I didnt opt for lux or black appearance package which would force somebody to the XLT or Lariat.

To me it wasn't worth it on a 2023. They come standard with cruise, power mirrors come with CP360 I ordered, and the tailgate still locks, but with a key. I had that in my 2013 F150 and it wasn't a big deal. The gate will rarely go down anyway. I prefer the black interior of the XL too. Rear cupholders I don't need, because I rarely have more than 1 passenger. I can upgrade to the wheels I want. So far I like the Bronco sport Outer banks wheels. Don't care for many of the aftermarket ones offered.

I'll lock my XL tailgate like our great ancestors used to do, with a key.

Actually, I'll probably never lock it as the bed is open.

Paying cash, or financing? If financing, is the payment at or near the top of your comfort zone?

Is this question even valid?

I thought that orders were locked and trim level changes could not be done now.
