Anyone having issues with front axles? My front end was shaking when accelerating at about 15K miles and the axles were replaced by dealership under warranty. I now have 36K miles with the same issue, 2022 XL Hyrid.

Surprised you got a warranty replacement.
Yeah I was a little surprised. I put the stock wheels and tires back on.
what I’m more surprised about is how sensitive this vehicle is. The modification is very minimal.
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem I’m not the only person with bigger tires ect.

Ford made the angles on the half shafts more drastic for the Maverick in stock form using the C2 platform, adding a lift only makes the problem even more pronounced. I believe in stock form the angles are at about 18 degrees with the suspension loaded. Add in a 1 or 2 inch lift and you are easily going over 20 degrees which is where things start getting dicey for half shafts. There is a reason the Tremor uses the upgraded Bronco Sport Badlands half shafts for just about a 1" lift.

instantaneous peak torque from the traction motors combined with already drastic halfshaft angles. Also, did anyone not notice the post where someone showed their halfshaft stamped with the Hyundai parts logo?

Great info! I’m going remove the lift and I ordered the gas version with AWD

Don't fully understand the context of your message given the fact that there's no tone with an internet post but I would keep your hybrid, find a custom driveshaft place that will make you some beefier halfshafts, between gas savings and paying more for a newer model along with higher interest rates etc it would be the cheaper route

There are many reports of Mav Hybrids with CV Axle problems, and as noted the problem is exacerbated by a lift. But it happens to plenty of stock trucks too.

Thanks I had a feeling it wasn’t just me. I’m trying to decide what to do.
