I would assume, he only had the "Camera" as a Recall...So you never had a recall or you had it fixed? I have a 24 also and have the recall but still waiting for advice from Ford as to when.

Were you indeed already setup for your WiFi nearby?Connecting to WiFi don’t work anymore, just said searching![]()
Dealership service manager just called me to setup a mobile update - gave a spiel to encourage that rather than bringing it in and possibly sitting all day, or drop off.My dealer originally was going to send a mobile service tech, but then told me that the "verification" process that has to be done before they release it can't be done away from the shop. Let us know if your dealership does it with mobile.
I picked up my 24 XLT Tuesday after work. Haven't had much time to drive yet as I drive my Hondu CRV to work. I've put about 30 miles on and here's just a couple initial reactions-The one I had a deposit on, got fixed or updated or whatever but I’m finishing the paperwork tomorrow after work and then bringing it home.![]()
FYI for all, the previous Software Version was G2.2.0.1. I guess 2.3 and 2.4 were failuresRecall done, seem to be working now. Photos of software version below. I don’t know it the from before![]()

Note.....there have been SEVERAL already on this site that have had a mobile Ford van do the update away from the shop. There are even pictures posted of the interaction.Got it back this morning. HayBales You were dead on. I asked again why this can't be done remote and he said it was a dealer manager decision worried about screwing up a vehicle away from the shop and not having the resources there to fix it.
Yeah, my dealer is just paranoid apparently. I bet when they get a few under their belt they start doing it mobile.Note.....there have been SEVERAL already on this site that have had a mobile Ford van do the update away from the shop. There are even pictures posted of the interaction.![]()
I have a 2024 XLT AWD. The truck currently has about 14000 miles. This freezing rear view camera issue started around 6-7000 miles ago. I ended up backing up into a trailer thinking that I had a bit more time to go while the camera had frozen in time and damaged the rear bumper and scratched the passenger side rear fender. I have a 2020 pp2 mustang, the quality of the camera compare to the one in the Maverick is day and night. It is flawless in the mustang. I thought purchasing the 360 technology package would have been as good as the one in the mustang, I guess not. I called Ford after it happened to report the incident, but at the time they didn’t have any recall as yet. I did create a ticket for incident.I have it fix today, it was the back up camera recall
They will tell you use your mirrors don't just trust great technology. We'll have to see if any of the members here tell you that. I've seen it many times, when someone brings up an issue what seems to be, a few Blue oval insider on here slam a person for it, place blame and razz them.I have a 2024 XLT AWD. Now, my question is who pays for the damage?
