I have my axles replaced under warranty at 55,000 mi. I'm currently at 76,000 mi so no longer under warranty and my truck is starting to shake again. I was wondering has most people that have checked their axles with the shaking under acceleration issue?

Grabbed both axles yesterday while changing oil. Both are good boots are dry but I suspect internal CV is worn like my original ones that came from factory on the truck.

Has it mostly been both axles or has passenger side been the main one to go out.
I was looking at Possibly getting tremor front axles but maybe the lobo would be better since my truck is lowered but I can't find any lobo part numbers. Anybody have any ideas?

The tremors looked shorter in one of the videos I saw

No. Set from the factory. Great truck. It hauls my Mt Bike and gets around 50mpg, in the summer.

I replaced the passenger side at 63k miles with the redesigned part in January. Drivers side has been good and keeping an eye on it at 80k. No alignment done since not under warranty, and no issues.

Was your truck lowered prior to first axle failure? Just getting information for my decisions going forward. Based on threads I have seen I would be hesitant to alter the suspension geometry in anyway until out of warranty.
Nope, truck was not lowered when the first set of axles went out and I don't think it matters. The axles are s*** either way people have issues lowered lifted and stock at very early on mile ranges

Just tell them to look up the TSB for Maverick shaking on their acceleration. It pulls up axles every time. That's why I got mine fixed because the service board was in

How was you able to tell which axles needed? That's my problem. I can't diagnose which one since there's no tears in the boots

I went to change the oil and saw the grease flying out of the axle boot. Slowly I started to notice the vibration when accelerating after that while waiting for the new axle.

Did you just replace the half shaft , or the full assembly. I know the passenger side has the mid/jack shaft. Don't see it going bad honestly.

The inward bearing on that mid-shaft - easily seen thru the hole in the shield - has me wondering how good is the visible shield in it?

I only noticed it thru the hole so splash-up could in theory occur, but couldn't get close enough for a pic - and it sure looked like the same plastic shield in my bike bearings, that are by no means waterproof.

DO NOT PUT ALL YOUR TRUST IN A DEALER!!!!

My 2024 Maverick Hybrid Passenger side CV joint went bad at 35,000 miles and the Ford Dealer Service Department didn't find it but and outside Car mechanic did! The Dealer Service advisor noted there was no shimmy or issue on acceleration but outside mechanic did. Dealer also said my Michelin Cross Climate were snow tires which they were not. The outside mechanic put truck on a lift and showed me the oil leak on axle and that it was hot which it should not have been. I took pictures of Leak on the axle and showed them to another Ford Dealer Service Advisor who said the vehicle should not be driven. It was serious
