Sometimes on long trips my wife or kids like to watch video on their phone or tablet, but play the sound through the speakers. On some vehicles, going through that Bluetooth connection creates a noticeable lag between the video and audio. It’s 2021….why?

That is what I use. I transmit Bluetooth from the phone or tablet to one of those devices and plug it into the aux input of the car stereo. For whatever reason the car Bluetooth itself seems to have several seconds of latency, where these devices don’t. Maybe the Maverick won’t have the same latency issue. Won’t know until I try it.Why don’t you just buy this to work with the Bluetooth system?

Ah yeah, it's ok, will just be selfish and say I don't know how to pair phones to it, the dealer did it for me lol. Only my phone allowed.Well I guess you are simply S.O.L.
I personally don’t want to hear what everyone else is listening to...
While I agree about Bluetooth not being ideal....
