Does anyone know if the stereo system will have a line in input for connecting sound sources besides Bluetooth capable ones?

Apparently nothing but the USB inputs.

Sometimes on long trips my wife or kids like to watch video on their phone or tablet, but play the sound through the speakers. On some vehicles, going through that Bluetooth connection creates a noticeable lag between the video and audio.

Why don’t you just buy this to work with the Bluetooth system?

(Or something similar)

That is what I use. I transmit Bluetooth from the phone or tablet to one of those devices and plug it into the aux input of the car stereo. For whatever reason the car Bluetooth itself seems to have several seconds of latency, where these devices don’t. Maybe the Maverick won’t have the same latency issue. Won’t know until I try it.

As someone who has ridden in a bunch of other people's cars and expect a bunch of other people to ride in mine, aux is just the way to go.

Bluetooth, at least from prior experience probably much better now, drops out with a disgustingly low amount of interference.
Also the whole pairing thing when someone's new is annoying plus remembering how to put the device in pairing mode.

Also these little devices have been unreliable prone to issues in our cases, the only issues ever had with aux is sometimes the cable gets bent or something which can be fixed easily or outright replaced.
Only problem left for aux would be adapters for 3.5mm to USB-C which can just leave permanently on the cable.

It just works better for sharing imo, not to mention more control with a cable on who can play music haha.

I personally don’t want to hear what everyone else is listening to...

While I agree about Bluetooth not being ideal....this seems like a tiny concern...

.....not sure what cars offer a 3.5mm input these days.

Another work-around...

Someone beat me to the posting of the adapter above...

Wireless FM Transmitter: Transmits your broadcast audio, smartphone and iPod music to your car stereo system.
High Visibility Display: Equipped with clear and high-contrast display, easy to read.

Ah yeah, it's ok, will just be selfish and say I don't know how to pair phones to it, the dealer did it for me lol. Only my phone allowed.
Can't be an issue if you feign ignorance.

Does the Maverick have a media player? Currently, I have both an SD card and usb drive plugged into my car. I go back and forth between the two to listen to music I have on the card and pen drive. I know there is no SD card slot on the Maverick but can I play music through it with my usb drive?
