Dig your Discman up and get that little converter jack for the USB input. I'm actually doing it with a Walkman. 300 cassettes can't be wrong. Well maybe. P.S. I'm 56.
You two keyboard experts have little idea what you are talking about. There is no such thing as receiver Standing Wave Ratio. A full wave antenna for AM would be over 160 meters. A full wave loop? Never heard of one for the AM broadcast band. Full wave on FM (100 Mhz) would be just under 3...
I suspect the thread size is the same as the fender mounted whip on many F150's. And it's my understanding Dodge is the same. Maybe your Silverado also.
Pull the little stubby out of the Mav and find out.
I don't have my Mav yet. ETA is this week. I'll let you know when it comes in.
But yeah...
I put a Curt "venturer" brake controller in my F150. Basic model. Complete waste of money.
Better add: The braking level slide adjustment was hard to use. Then the braking level increased on it's own. Then I had to unplug it whenever my cargo trailer was empty because the wheels always locked...
Hi Tom, that's the procedure I plan on implementing. I did it on my 2013 F150 and have almost no oil loss at each oil change interval (7500-10,000 miles).
But I have a question about RPMs and decompression.
As I recall you want to take it about 2/3rds the way to redline then let the decomp slow...
I've got to chime in here even though this is an old thread. BTW-I was kicked off this forum but I have temporarily snuck back on.
Transmitting any kind of power over, say, 200 watts on a CB or 10 meter radio with an antenna within, say, five feet of your head is maybe a cancer risk. 1000 watts...
Oil changes at home take twenty minutes tops. Usually ten. Can't see wasting time letting someone else do it.
Hopefully the oil filter isn't the PITA braille situation like my Honda Accord!
Time may be of the essence with this little Mav. Just show up in person and your order can be submitted within 20 minutes or so. By the time you get home the order confirmation from Ford may be waiting in your email. That's how it worked for me.
A loose timing chain makes distinct noise long before it snaps. Lift the hood with a warm engine at idle, can't miss it.
My 2000 4.2 V6 was tight at 235k. My bud's 5.0 Mustang had like over 350k before before the crankcase exploded. The timing chain was fine. He put that car through hell.
I...
