Im pretty sure 2020+ Subaru's have the options to disable it and keep it disabled on startup.

I don't like when I use the app to start the car and then when you get in and put the key in the ignition and turn it on the starter engages while the engine is running. I don't think that is good for the starter or the flywheel.

The Lariat hybrid does not have the auto engine on/off button. I don't know if that is specifically for the Lariat or for all of the hybrids, but in any case, it can be annoying. I shouldn't wonder if turning something off and on all the time is more wearing on the motor.

If you turn off your truck with auto stop brake button on it will be on when you start your truck again .Is this intended ? Also why didn’t they do this with the auto and stop feature ? They are literally right next to each other.

Are you sure about "brake hold"?

I use ECO mode frequently and I still have to turn brake hold on when I want it.

That's a very good question. They both should operate the same way. Memorize the last setting or an option in the menu to be set.
