I wish mine didn’t work.
On my 2019 Ranger plugging a night light into the AC receptacle behind the front seats would disable S/S. On my new Maverick it only works some of the time. I've only had the Maverick for two days but will be looking for something to plug into the receptacle to duplicate what I had with the Ranger. I don't like S/S either. As I sit here I'm thinking when I was driving today maybe the night light wasn't burning all the time. It is a night light after all. I never had a problem with the Ranger, but I may need to cover the sensor with tape to be sure the light is on all the time the truck is running.

Suddenly my auto start/stop is not working. Had side air bag recall and new ones installed. After that the auto start/stop would not engage. The monitor shows a line through the A but the button is not lit. The button to shut it off will engage and light up but it remains turned off. Ford service charged my less than 3K mile battery overnight, got it to function twice but then turned off again. They have "escalated" issue to Ford. Anyone else with this issue? Was it fixed?
I’m having the same problem with my 2023 cohost. I brought the truck to my Ford dealer and they told me that they couldn’t find a problem If I charge my battery over night the stop start will work for maybe a half dozen times and then it doesn’t work again until I charge the battery. I think that Ford should replace my battery.

For most ECO Mav owners, the solution is to buy a non-Ford AGM battery, do the BMS reset, and change the battery charge level to 95% with ForScan. I did this a few months ago and I have not experienced any issues with A/S/S.
