Area 51 Question - VOTE!

Blue?

Or Green?

Since Area 51 is about aliens and everyone knows aliens have green skin (obviously) this is therefore a green color. Or is it? You're going to have to choose one or the other when you register in most states. Own one or not, Vote! Vote just for fun. What came to mind the first time you saw it?

Hmm... I've been describing it as "gray" with a hint of blue and green. I guess if I had to call it either blue or green, I'd say green. How about "teal"?

To further muddy the water: I have common red/green colorblindness.

Area 51 looks Blue, Cactus Gray looks Green. Both very nice, but I chose Cactus Gray for my '23...

Mine is a blue Grey. Never looks green. Cactus Grey sometimes has a green tint.

Depends on sunlight or moonlight, whether sunglasses in or off, sunny or cloudy, but to me, it is more blue than green. That is why we went with it since the velocity blue was no longer available.

Is A51 different for different models? I saw a Maverick with it and it looked blue green. This week I saw a Bronco with it and it looked green (which I liked). I ordered A51 so will it be a surprise?

I've seen some that look like the same color as San Jose Sharks NHL to me. A little lighter shade but very similar hue to me. I thought of the Sharks the first time I saw one on the road.

I think maybe "teal" could describe it.
I think Blue-Green describes it well.

But the fun of this thread, if you had to check ONE box at the DMV and were not allowed write-ins (they told me just pick the closest one) which would you choose faced with blue or green?

With so many "grey" variants, I think we can agree this is not a simple "grey" variant. There's quite a bit of tint. Grey is just a blend (and there's thousands) of black & white.
