Matchbox Mavrick Area 51

Just received my Matchbox 2023 model. Some folks on this forum have called the color Area 51 Blue. My 23 EB is Area 51 Blue. So attached is a picture comparing the Matchbox with the true color. It is not a match. The Matchbox is a much lighter blue when compared to the actual Area 51 Blue.

I did t think I was going to like the area 51, but when they had one and I saw it in person I thought it was great.
Then they canned the color so the new owners cannot get the unique color.
If they got it close I might have bought one to put in the cubby hole to the right of the screen since nothing else fits there

If you're picky, you can probably buy a rattle can of Area 51 touch-up paint online. Last time I looked, I think the closest match was called RAF Air Force Blue (Hex #5D8AA8, RGB 93/138/168, CMYK 45/18/0/34). If you're into powder coating, you can pick up a pound of the stuff for $15 HERE.
