Apple CarPlay working intermittently

I feel like this is probably a dumb question now, but how do you do that?

The bottom left of the screen. Push that and it will bring up the main menu. Press the Ford logo if I remember correctly and that will take you out of Android Auto. I am always in Apple Car play so forgive me if that is not correct. But, I think it is

Paul...LM 42 is correct. Push the lower left button, and then the Ford Logo. My daughter had to show me. Also....in a post above, Yes...the Iphone 11 is fully compatible...just a bit glitchy at times as mentioned in all of these posts.

No....It's not the cable in this case....it's the Synch system. It's happening to all the Mavs.

I agree its not the cable, it's the shitty Ford system.

I rent cars weekly when I travel for work, so far all of them have just worked. Both wired and wireless.
The Mav is spotty and always has issues both wired and wireless.

Yes, I've tried different cables.
Yes, I've turned off BT.
Yes, I've tried waiting a few min for the system to start before plugging in.

No....It's not the cable in this case....it's the Synch system. It's happening to all the Mavs.

I've never had an issue on my Lariat Lux Sync 3 system with Carplay.

Could be....since i've had issues since day one. Mine is XLT non-Lux package. I switch over to my F250 sometimes and everything works like a top. NO issues at all in my other Ford. Mav is a bit glitchy.
