Yes, I ordered a 2024 that actually took three days to get through Fords order system. The rep wouldn't tell me if it was a dealer problem or a Ford system problem.

This will be my very first truck and I ordered an XLT, eco., AWD, with Lux. pkg, tow pkg, soft cover and splash guards.
I will confirm what someone else already replied. Splash guards and cover should absolutely be removed. These are considered very constrained items by Ford and will keep you from getting your Maverick. These are items that can be easily added when you get your truck.

Filled out the “build it yourself “ at Ford site, dealer contacted me, it’s ordered! White XLT, 2.0 liter awd, tow package…kept it simple.

You should check out @fordvideoguy on YouTube. He is from Long McArthur Ford in Kansas. He strongly recommends not adding the tonneau or the splash guards to your order as they can cause your build to be delayed or passed over. You can order those items directly from the dealer for the same price. Just FYI

I'm a first timer that ordered a '24 Lariat Tremor in Atlas Blue Metallic with Sunroof and Splash Guards. Wouldn't Ford flag it, and come to me and say simply, Hey, we can't deliver your truck with the Splash Guards. Do you just want to delete them, so we can build it? Instead of, it won't get built, ever.

My 1st mav, is cyber grey fwd eco, it will have sprayed in bed liner, tow hitch, all weather flooring mats, 360 safety alarms and a locking tail gate. It will be my primary vehicle and I will get rid of the 2012 chevy sonic sedan. Do to my back can not handle the car like it use to. I'm looking forward for the trucklet.

I ordered my 24 on 8/28/23, carb grey, eco, 4K, Awd. A week later a different dealer called to say they just got a 23, cactus grey, eco, 4K, Awd, moon roof. Loved the color, bought it, and figured I'd have a lot of time before the 24 comes in....until last week when I got the email that the 24 is scheduled for a 12/18/23 build, so it will be decision time come the new year. Wishing you luck on your Maverick journey. You'll love it when it arrives!

The customer having some control of their own build, what a wonderful concept!

I'm really worried about the splash guards on my build scheduled for the week of October 23. I had requested they be removed ten days before the build date was scheduled, and was told they were. I even signed the updated build sheet and emailed it back, confirmed the salesperson received it, and ordered splash guards elsewhere the next day. Ends up they weren't removed after all, which I discovered when Ford sent the build information! It is going to be a nerve-racking week or so until I hear if my build goes into production. 🤞

Same here on the Splash Guards. I deleted them awhile ago. I’m Oct. 23 week also. Ordered splash Guards through Ford Accessories. Funny thing is they were cheaper to order and pick up at the dealer , rather than order at the same dealer parts counter in person.

Ordered my 2024 Shadow Black Lariat August 24th with the splash guards. Picked out what I wanted online, sent it to my small town dealer, and went there the next day. Had the email from Ford that evening and have since gotten my first Dear John letter. I then found a 2023 XLT in Cactus Grey so I'm going to leave the splash guards on there and see what happens, as I am am no longer in a hurry to get the Lariat.

Is the splash guard availability thing still a real issue, or is it just a holdover in peoples minds from a problem in previous years? I hope the former, as I ordered splash guards and other options listed as a "constraint" items.

I didn't even know there was such problems until I joined this forum. Lack of me doing enough research, I guess?

I have seen others, beside myself, who's vehicles are currently in production that also have those items selected as an option. I wouldn't think Ford would start building a bunch of trucks that they knew they didn't have all the parts for, but maybe?

Come on "Built" e-mail!

I am not able to add my build to the “Order Submission” on this site at this time because the form does not have option for “2024”. So Iam listing the information for my order below.

And ask a question, Is there anyone else who is a first timer who has ordered a 2024 Maverick.

I placed my order thru my local Ford dealership on 7/18/2023 for 2024 Maverick, Color: Atlas Blue Metallic, XLT FWD, .20L Ecoboost, XLT Luxury Package, only add on's - Fullsize spare tire & engine block heater.

Signed, Gretal.

P.S. I have found a lot of information on this site. And hope to be a Maverick Girl some time down the road.
I noticed 2024 wasn’t a option also as well as my color Terrain.

Nice, same as mine!

HRG

Does anyone know if Ford builds these Mavericks based on the cost ?
I ordered pretty basic '24 XL Hybrid that was about $27K.
I think maybe this will never be built since it is on the cheap side vs. the almost $40K top of the line.
Any ideas ?
